Kate Caoimhe Arthur
Now living and writing in County Down, I was the Fenland Poet Laureate in 2017. My poems have appeared in The Irish Independent, The Stinging Fly and The Tangerine, and I have reviews in pnReview. I have won the Spelt poetry competition and Highly Commended for the Patrick Kavanagh Award. I have received funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland National Lottery Support for Individual Artist Fund working with mentor Susannah Dickey through The Faber Academy. I collaborated withe the Fine Art Printmaker Iona Howard. I find the rhythm of walking and being outdoors essential to making poetry.
